Before you book
A wardrobe edit is a stylist going through what you own with you, piece by piece: what to keep, what to alter, what to sell or give away, and which outfits are already hiding in there. It usually happens at your home and takes a few hours, depending on the size of the wardrobe.
You come out with fewer clothes you don’t wear, outfits you hadn’t thought of, and a short list of the pieces that would make the rest work: often the brief for a shopping session afterwards.
Closetboard for iPhone
A stylist works best when they can see what you already own. Closetboard puts your whole wardrobe on your phone, cut out and ready to pin into outfits, so a session in the Netherlands or over video starts with your real clothes, not a rail of new ones.
For stylists
Stylist mode gives you a client list, each client’s closet on your phone, your own booking website, a diary that keeps itself and your invoices, in the same app your clients use. 14 days free. Already listed here? Claim your listing and it becomes your booking page.
Questions
How long they allow, and what happens if it overruns. Whether they take away what you let go (to sell, donate or recycle). What you keep afterwards: outfit photos, a gap list, a shopping list. Whether a follow-up or shopping session is included or extra. And look at their own work first: a stylist’s portfolio or Instagram tells you more about their eye than their prices do.
Yes: 4 of the 10 stylists here also work over video, so you don’t need to be in the Netherlands. You show them your wardrobe on camera or in photos.
No. Every listing comes from the stylist’s own public website, nobody pays to be here or to be higher up, and the order is alphabetical. Closetboard takes no fee when you book.
